How to: Install Chat in Windows 95.
Solution:
Use 'Add/Remove Programs' to install Chat from the Windows 95 CD-ROM.
1) Insert Windows 95 CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive.
2) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
3) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
4) Double-click the 'Add/Remove Programs' icon. (The 'Add/Remove Programs Properties' dialog box appears.)
5) Click the 'Windows Setup' tab and click 'Have Disk...'. (The 'Install From Disk' dialog box appears.)

6) In the 'Copy manufacturer's files from' drop-down list box, type:
<drive>:\OTHER\CHAT
(where <drive> is the letter of the CD-ROM drive).
7) Click 'OK'. (The 'Have Disk' dialog box appears.)
8) Select the 'Chat' check box in the 'Components' list box.
9) Click 'Install'. (The 'Add/Remove Programs Properties' dialog box reappears.)
10) Click 'OK'. (The 'Control Panel' window reappears.)
11) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Close'. (A 'Chat' shortcut is created in the WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\ACCESSORIES folder.)
